Welcome to CCA Oregon • Resource-First, Science-Based Advocates

In 7 years CCA Oregon has developed the most effective and far reaching fish advocacy organization in our state's history.

We are not just another fishing club.

The model of "Member Driven" issues executed by our volunteers and professional staff has shown to work here as it has for 30 years in 16 other coastal states.

Volunteer members make it work.

We are engaged and making vital changes in policies that will affect our fisheries for years to come. By being involved in policy making from stake holder groups, working with policy makers at ODFW, and changing laws in the legislature that are vital to sustainable fisheries, the CCA model gets results.

CCA Oregon's noteworthy accomplishments:

  • Protected the nearshore ocean fisheries from sweeping arbitrary closures.
  • Banned the use of gillnets on the mainstem lower Columbia River.
  • Established selective recreational angling as the management priority for the lower Columbia River.
  • Maintaining hatchery fish for harvest.
  • Addressing predation issues.

Join CCA Oregon and add your voice to those taking a stand for sustainable recreational fisheries.
